I might be wrong, it could have been called the 25 pr 50 club, but I remember my mom would bake a tray of eats in the 70's then head of to some womans house to join 20 or 50 or 100 woman for a monthly draw!... anyone know more?

Just to let you know tupperware is no more, not available anymore, collectable items if you have any hanging about. Microwave killed it, that's why it's sticky.  They never made the transition into the age of microwave, everyone moved on.................. ::)

I've always made rice in a pot, didn't know you could boili t up in a bit of tupperware

My  one colleague  at  work  is  a  reformed  Kugel  ,, result  of   jewish girl  being  sent  to  a  convent   as  there  was  no  suitable   english  school  in brakpan or  wherever in  that  godforsaken  corner  of  the  world ... Buut  she  still  has her Blonde Kugel moments  .. the  other  day  she  was  telling  everybody  that  the  best  appliance  she has  is  her
" automatic  rice cooker " ..  lots  of  puzzled looks   ..  nobody  knew  what  she  was  talking  about  ..  turns out  its  the  tupperware  contraption  that  somebody  gave her   . Automatic ??
