I'm a bit late on this one, but I have heard of two different accidents that have occurred at the small circle in the middle of the town during the past week.....

Anyone know anything?

Heard one of the 5th avenue circles jump in front of a white citi golf on Wednesday night, the golf was still stuck to the palm tree yesterday morning.
Anybody see it... ?

Ha ha, those moving circles are a serious threat to our ability to drink and drive effectively!!!!!

I also heard that the guy in the white golf was lucky to be wearing his seatbelt..... otherwise he might not have been with us at this stage.,..... he only got to spend 2 days in hospital.......

I believe that a SH bakkie decided to plough into a tree at the entrance to town last night.... coming into town, on THAT curve, the driver thought it would be amusing to mount the curb and park his bakkie against the tree......

Got ripped from my pleasant dreams this morning around 3 by a loud bang. Truned out that someone skipped the STOP and then Topaz Guesthouse stopped him.  bravo image201

Looks like a VW Polo in the photo's. Judging by the hefty knock it received to the front right side it's weird that the airbag didn't deploy? There's no head shaped dent in the driver side windscreen so he must have been wearing his seat belt at the time. (No seat belt disables the front airbags in VW Polo's).

Makes me worry a bit as I also drive a Polo. Looks like the airbags are factory set nowadays to random mode...lol
