This Video Clip of the OPS School Choir 2010, singing the School Anthem, was recorded during break at the School. The purpose of the clip, was to have it sent down to Zandy Zandhuis for his 70th Surprise Birthday.

Were the walls also paneled in the 70s?

No..... they were cement..... and paint...... I think the panels went up sometime in the last decade......

The other thing that is missing, is the Oppenheimer, Rhodes, Barnato boards and trophy's above the windows in the hall..... there is now an honours hall at the entrance to the hall, with all the trophy's there...

When we had the reunion 2 years back.... we went to the school and heard the choir sing it then...Ja, memories indeed....

Thanks so much for this.  I couldn't believe that all the words came flooding back as soon as the choir started singing and I found myself singing along as though I was back in assembly!!

Goose bumps and tears.  How I miss my school days.  It was awsome to hear the school anthem a gain, and still remember all the words.  Funny how it sticks to you without knowing it.
