This year's Oranjemunders Cape Town Bash 2010 will be held as follow:
DATE:     Saturday   25 September 2010
TIME:     16:00 till Late
VENUE:   ZONNEKUS HOLIDAY RESORT;  Recreation Club
             MORNINGSTAR,  on the N7 to Malmesbury  (Map is available)

I suggest you arrive between 12:00 & 14:00 to book in and get ready for the Party which will begin at 16:00 and carry on untill late. This will give everone ample time to catch up on everything. Or seeing it is a long weekend, feel free to camp there for the weekend.

Spitbraai & salads
Cash Bar
Band:  BAD APPLE  (Johan Krige & Guys)
Dancing and kuiering till late in the Rec Hall

SUNDAY
Breakfast will be provided for those sleeping over on Sunday morning before booking out at 10:00.

FOR THOSE WHO ARE VEGETARIANS / KOSHER / HALAAL / FOOD ALLERGIES - Please indicate this on your booking form to enable us to accommodate your dietary preferences.

COST PER PERSON @ R 190.00 - Saturday Spitbraai & Sunday Breakfast
                             R 160.00 - Saturday Spitbraai

Please obtain a booking form from me which will have your unique booking number on. Your booking will merely be valid once you have forwarded the completed form and the proof of payment to me. In return I will confirm your booking via email.  On the day of the event you will receive an envelope with your tickets inside.

Is it true that all the Chalets are already booked out for this event?

As per my conversation with Susanne from Zonnekus Holiday Resort yesterday, there were only 2 chalets still available and plenty camping sites.  I know the chalets sleep 4 - 6 and I am sure if you ask around some people in the chalets would not mind sharing.  Will get a full updated list of bookings from Zonnekus on Monday when I go there. Will keep you posted.  We can also only accommodate 150 people with regards to the event / catering. Those who want to book must wake up and book to avoid disappointment.

I have tracked down Johan Krige / Oros & the guys who had the band in Oranjemund and is now known as Bad Apple. They will be playing for us on that evening. Spitbraai is booked and plenty of Jaggermeister ordered.

There is only 50 more spaces available. No tickets will be available at the entrance on that day. So please book now to avoid disappointment. To those of you who have booked and paid.   I suggest you bring your own bedding if you booked a chalet and please remember to bring something warm to wear for the evening.

I see my bro is also going to the "do".  Man oh man, so wish we could go too.  Would have been nice to see all.  Please take lots and lots of pics.  I'm sure it's going to be one hell of a weekend.  ENJOY!! 
Don't think there are many towns that does things like Oranjemund.
