I never had my Camera with me today, but on returning from the beach today, just past where the road bends between the airport and the Log Cabin... I had to slow down as two Springboks bounced across the road.... as I glanced towards the log Cabin side, I was amazed to see a further 15 or so Springbok..... WoW! Never seen that down here before.....

Chantelle was telling me of the 2 Springbokkies at the riding club this morning.
There don't seem to be so many this side of the fence. You should see the massive herds in the mine area... 30, 40 plus in a herd and about 3 or 4 of these big herds within 5km's visible along the Eastcliff road.
Who needs Kruger or Etosha park, come to Oranjemund and see more.

All things electrical contain smoke. Making it come out is easy; getting it back in? ... yeah right!!!

Anyone know what happened about the okes who did a bit of herd culling some time ago??  Maybe you should shoo some of the big mining guys to the river side???
