Yawn, I know it's misty in town at the moment, but it's time to have another session of unskilled social bowls tonight from 18h30. Dress warm, Max temp will be about 16 degrees.... there will be a braai fire , so bring your wors and chops with. I am expecting about 4 people...... Ahem, Although about 14 people told me they would be there....... some people don't seem to like playing bowls in the mist coz they can't see their balls!

Hey Mike, after about 17 "social" bowl evenings, I'm sure you're quite the expert by now...

How did it go with the "Bowlers in the Mist"...?  Must've been like blind bowling... interesting....  affe-red

Ja! All in all we were 8 people in the bar..... nobody was interested in playing the bowls, but the fire got lit and Jono was in rush to get the meat cooked, forcing me to eat by 20h30 and everyone knows I cannot consume beer and food at the same time.....so to the surprise of my family, arrived home before they went to bed... in all honesty , I must admit I feel very good this morning....

On another note, I got to meet the only black diver employed on the mine, nice chap...... ironically his name is Noah!
