To Mike and the whole Alexander clan,

We have just heard of Jocks passing, and it is with great sadness and shock that we offer our deepest condolences. One of nature's true gentlemen, who always wore his heart on his sleeve, his memory shall forever be etched in my heart. Our paths crossed fleetingly whilst I was serving time in the Compressor Workshop at Uubvlei, where he taught me everything there was to know about the drill rigs. A favorite memory I have of him is singing along to the  Johnny Horton song "North to Alaska".

Farewell Uncle Jock!!

May the highlands ring with the sweet tones of Jock
May the heather bloom under his smiling face
May the caskets of Whisky age with the knowledge of a humble man
May he always be at peace with his beloved Vi and in the hearts of his whole clan.

We raise a glass to you all tonight
