Buying Skype Credit?

Has anyone in here ever bought SKYPE credit to make PC to Landline phonecalls overseas?

Hey Mike, We have not yet, but there a so many people here doing that and apparently the calls are much much cheaper.  We have friends staying in Perth that uses skype credit and here they get free calls etc.  Don't know if it will be the same in namibia though.

Yes I have. Quality sometimes not so good but its dirt cheap.

Thanks Guys! Purchased 10 Euro 's worth online last night, I want to phone my Uncle in Scotland (and Australia) and cannot afford to spend too much chatting.... I will test it out over the next few days........ according to their rates, it seems very very very cheap..... and due to the fact that my Uncle in Scotland does not want to touch a Pc........ I can connect to his landline via Skype and my PC...... just wondering how the quality will be......

SKYPE 3 allows you to video conference more than one person, and from here in OZ to the UK its 2.7cents per minuet that's around $1:70 an hour.
