Sources in the Tree planting Industry in  Oranjemund are suggesting that the company is putting it's money where it's mouth is.... and are hoping to plant 1000 tree's in Oranjemund on the 8th of October 2010.... to replace all the tree's missing in action since 1997.....

This is some of the best news I have heard in a very longtime and kudo's to OTMCO/NAMDEB...... for initiating this project....   woo_hoo

This story would make a most excellent PR scoop for the company as I doubt that there is any other organisation in the entire Namibia that has embarked on such a tree planting exercise on such a grand scale...Wow! 1000 tree's........ Don't you just love living in Oranjemund......

So long as they are not planting them all in my garden, this should be fine... if I wanted to live in a forest I would have moved to Nottingham!!!!!

@ Mike A.: Well duh.... of course there aren't many trees left in Nottingham, the constabulary had to chop them down to prevent that Robin Hood fellow from hiding out therein didn't they...!!!!
