I've been deleting spam since early this morning and it is still coming through. Rules are not working. .htaccess isn't either. Norton is useless against it as well.Ho hum!

Ho Hum bigger  boobs ,,, bigger  penis ,,,  bigger ego . bigger whatever ,,, strangely  so no amount of filters seem to workall  the time ,, at times at work  our firewall seems to go slack and then we get bombarded ...  I got trend ,, and  seems my hotmail and Gmail have got  pretty good filtering ..  this junk is so irritating  when it slips through the net ... 
Robert  try resetting your filters ....

Our local ISP's and Gmail seem to have very good spam/junk mail filters..... have only won 100000000 pounds once this year

No Robert ,, not O'monline .. excepting the bloody trojan  that got in   a month or two ago , .. disabled my laptop and cost me to get it up and running again ..
I  got onto a social site last year , was quite fine ( forgot the name ) .. but after  a  few weeks the spams started coming in via that site .. shut  it down  and stayed far away ..  even facebook gets infiltrated by  spammers .. so beware ...

Yeah I am very aware of spam. Been battling it since I opened up online back in '96 Those were the days! Mind you they were not necessarily the good old days. These are the good old days.

I agree that FB and othe social sites are prime spam spawners. Norton does take cre of a lot of it but the recent spate got through my filters. It has died off now.

I have loaded a forum to the site and this always attracts the trojans and hackers. So I am tempted to say the forum triggered it but I cannot track the infiltration point. So until I am 100% happy my forum remains shut to credit management folk.

Just been tweaking up my Feedburner. Got it fixed.

Hmmm  -  Sandy, I regularly get the 'enlarge your penis' one.  At some stage I decided to just pop a note back to them that said something like  ~!~  I don't have a penis, so I can't enlarge it, so please stop asking me if I want to....   I must say, that has been about a year ago and till date I have not received anymore of those.

But  -  I still frequeantly win the UK Online Lottery  and they mail me winning notifications.  And I inherit money from long lost relatives somewhere in Europe, but I have to mail all my particulars to them, including my bank detail that must also contain my pin code ......

Geluk or what? I get Bingo Bonanza and that same chappie in Nigeria wanting to split the money Mike is going to send him but before that happens I need to lend him $347,856.12 to meet admin expenses.........................!!!

Robert, if I had acted on all those ones about the enlargements, I would have been the envy of many an elephant bull by this time ......   


Must be a helluva lot of admin they have to do in order to hand your money over to you !!!
