Must be honest I would never have got to the name Peter Gunn Theme or Emerson Lake and Palmer.Well I'll never forget it now. Yes I had heard the tune and do know the band.. The Emerson link sounds great...now you've got me youtu.be'ing them for the next while

Aside from the Peter Gunn theme, Henry Mancini also composed the Pink Panther tune for the movie of the same name. Both became a hits. But then Mancini had a habit of composing great tunes that charted.
