@ Pepe, pity, I'm in the best team - Barnato. You're joining a big bunch of Rhodies, like George for instance. I posted some pics earlier of the athletics pavilions of 1968. Who knows, maybe you are somewhere on them? It was before my OPS years, but my sis Francie was there. I don't know how to put the link in the post without losing this reply post. With all honesty Bertie, Barnato was always our challange to beat and we succeeded in a number of occasions but not always. At the end of the day it was all part of the fun and competition LOL. It would be great if Georg Snr or Mike can place the link, would like to see the photo. I unfortunatley was not there in 68 but in Wellington Huguenot High.

Hi Paul. No I am not family of Dirk Groenewald. Or I don't think so. Do not have brother and my Uncle did not have boys as far as I can remember.

I do have Swanepoel family in the Namaqualand area though - wondered what happened to them. Last I heard Ronel (my cousin) was married to an old flame of mine David Cockrel from Alexanderbay and her brother Eben was in the army. If anyone has contact with them please let them get in touch with me.
