I notice that a lot of the longtime expats, my dad including, all go back for a trip or two to Europe, but all say they would'nt like to live there anymore as things have changed a lot from their days.....

I saw on SKYnews last week.... That more than 440000 pommies emigrated form the UK last year....

The same happens in Germany. People are spreading all over the world.
But believe it or not. You do have several advantigase of living here. And you get comfortable with them if you're here long enough.

as many people that leave double the number are entering.
