Sad news , another part of our history gone ,, he and Nina songbirds of note and very active in the Oranjemund theatrical society ,, rest in peace  Edgar and enjoy singing duets with Nina again ,,
A bit of humour , When I worked a 4 plant with John Wallace , we had a nickname for Eddie Jones ,, black dog ..that was because he would mostly arrive at work in a black suit and then change into overalls ,, old school of note ,
To see  sometimes  requires that you  first believe .

My condolances to the Jones family, thats another old stalward I knew very well. I always remember the Moth Barbershop Quartet ,Eddie Jones,Roy Fields,Vic Keyes,Bill Slier. They were very talanted and always good for a laugh. They are a dying breed unfortunatly. I am deeply saddened by his passing.

I knew Eddie well in the old days of HMS. He was an enjoyable character, always good for a laugh, forever singing, humming or whistling.
Does anyone have any information on the age of his death and where?

My condelences to the Jones family. Remember some of them well. Anne was in class with me in 74 with Mrs. Coffin. And I remember Eddy singing "I did it my way" as if it was yesterday. Very nice person he was.
