Thanks for all the input ladies and gents, as a number of you might know, I was lucky to marry a pretty gal 6 years my junior. Anyhow, I was shown this advert which appeared in a national magazine and was astonished to find out from my dearest wife that she knew this lady,as they were athirst school together. This places the advertised lady at aroun 37 years of age. Gee! I thought to myself, this broad looks at least 10 years older than my Michele, ain't I a lucky guy?

Michael , you were playing a cruel game .. .. whatever  , she is a very attractive woman .  the game being  this uberwoman comps of rooibos , she could be an attractive 37 year old  or a good looking 55 .. makes no diffs .. I have seen and been in the company of a few of them as well  ,  Michele is blessed with good looks  ,, just look at her mother , thats the gene line  and be grateful  ,    cherish it ..

Sandy, these two females you mention above have more than the gene lines in common. I have just been informed by Jenny, that she knew all about the age of the woman in question and that she was keeping it from me. Apparently, Mother and Daughter were talking about the topic earlier in the week.

I was watching a program on TV the other week its a British show called Q.I. and one of the question's asked by the Quiz master Steven Fry was how old are you?  the answer that was given by the Quiz master was that we are about 7 to10 years  the reason that was stated was that every cell in your body regenerates its self over the 7 to 10 year period. Having heard this before I went looking on line and there is an amazing amount of misconception on this matter. This statement was taken from a web site ask a naturalist and his answer was.

The Short Answer: Recent research has confirmed that different tissues in the body replace cells at different rates, and some tissues never replace cells. So the statement that we replace every cell in the body every seven years or every ten years is wrong. Using a revolutionary new technique (described below), researchers have shown that:
Neurons in the cerebral cortex are never replaced. There are no neurons added to your cerebral cortex after birth. Any cerebral cortex neurons that die are not replaced.
Fat cells are replaced at the rate of about 10% per year in adults. So you could say that on average, human beings replace all their fat cells about every ten years.
Cardiomyocyte heart cells are replaced at a reducing rate as we age. At age 25, about 1% of cells are replaced every year. Replacement slows gradually to about 0.5% at age 70. Even in people who have lived a very long life, less than half of the cardiomyocyte cells have been replaced. Those that aren't replaced have been there since birth
Then it goes on and on!........... the Lady's photograph in this post is a very good subject on were we come from and in that I mean your genetic build up, I have noticed there are a lot of Ancestry programs being advertised and how easy it is to trace your past well to a point. The lady in the photo is luck to have her genetics, my father died quit young mum was well into her nineties and my oldest son was still being asked for proof of identity into his thirties, no such luck in my case the only people wanting to no my age is the medical fraternity as Mr Spock said 'Live long and Prosper'................
