Hennie, there was plenty of rain and wind here in Oranjemund over the weekend as well........

Mike V  , did you take some photographs of the event ??  . Rain in O mund is not a everyday occurrence . And rain in O mund always reminds me about a strike about food or something else at North Hostel. so a small number of protesters gathered and started to march to town to see the GM . But the North Westerly wind ensured a thunderstorm that afternoon  . When the strikers reached Central fields , there were a number of lightning flashes accompanied by the usual loud thundering noise . They all turned around and ran back to the hostel  - because it was said that this unusual event indicated to them , not to continue with the protest march

Unfortunately Hennie, no photo's......... Since being here I have picked up flu type symptoms so not at my best. Ooops here I go, leaving myself open to ridicule from those two mean men, namely Mike A & Adriaan. Did have a braai though on Sunday in between the rain with the afore mentioned men plus Jack and their wives. Thank goodness though Mike's Braai is area is covered
