A Tool and the 50yr old tree's

I heard from a chap today working for the contracting company that maintains our unique towns and lawns that it was going to become their policy to chop down any tree oldr than fifty year.... This obviously would include the four tall palms in the centre of town?

Com'on which narrow minded person is in a vendeta to cull ALL our tree's .... A lot of history in that there bark......

WTF ,,  now  why want  to chop  down  50 + trees ,, some idiot sitting in an office with nothing better  to do ?? Nice to see that the Palms in the circles on 5th are getting a haircut and that there is gardening activity of sorts commencing on the said circles...

On another good note, great to see the Palm tree in the town pool grounds got it's haircut after a delay off three years...

The Camethorn tree's outside the town pool by the parking lot also had a visit from the chainsaw gang...

Some parts are looking up..... others not, but I am sure we shall get there....
