Just had the sad news that ex Oranjemunder, Gert Vermaak passed on to higher mansions.

Gert was the foreman over at the Radio Workshop!

No no-  no . that braai is on top of Buchu berg . see the radio mast anchor cable just behind us . the braai kole  , was Black ebbe wood - and is just about right for the boere wors . in our hands is cool drinks - it may look like windhoek beer cans !

Oh! Yes! I remember those cooldrinks, they were my favourite type, the blue export cans unmistakeable....... To be honest, I don't know why they stopped brewing .....er making that brand, was my favourite when I was an appie...

What a cool place to have a braai.... Really remote....
