Lidl is one of the biggest german supermarkets and expanding throughout europe. They have a bad reputation when it comes to workers policy. The fellow that founded the compony started with nothing about 20 years ago. Kind of Rockefeller story.
We bought a part of the decoration at ALDI. Don't think you've got them in Britain.. ;)
Hope my family was saticfied. It was are first reunion of the kind. 3 of our kids have left home....

Hope you and family had a lovely christmas, we have both here up north Lidl and Aldi both not bad shops, i went there to buy german christmas cookies after it was too much trouble to make myself.

we had quite a good day.......problem was i got the flu so went to bed early i am still in bed now and do not feel like eating so maybe it is a good thing ......otherwise i would be stuffing myself with cookies and chocolate
