Does anyone remeber Jim Lawson, He was a keen cyclist ans died in a road accident in 1978 in O/M.
I saw a message on a forum from his daughter Tracey asking if anyone from O/M remembered him as she would love to ask what people remembered of him as she was very young when he died. her mum is called anna. so if u remember anything at all please get on touch
Also mike if you could maybe have a look in the grave yard to see if there is a grave there im sure it would mean such a lot to tracey and her family.

Morning Bev, will do it over the weekend, I remember on the old old guestbook of about 5 years back somebody looking for a Lawson. I also remember going to primary school with a Jamie Lawson.

Hi Bev

Just got your email about this site so thanks very much.  Just a bit of additional info for anyone out there who might have known my dad.  He worked for Debeers and died in 1978.  I think we only moved to OM in 1976.  My sister Karen was born in Pretoria in 1976 so as we left when my dad died, she never went to school there.  However I was at school for about 6 months.  I remember the early morning sandstorms when going to school in the dark.  My memories are very very vague unfortunately and any info anyone has would be great.  My dad was only 31 when he died.  I will find a photo and scan it in to see if anyone recognises him.  My mum and dad were friends with Eleanor and Bill Brown who had 2 sons, steven and christopher.  They moved back to scotland shortly after we did.

Any info would be so appreciated
