Teachers at OPS

Several teachers have been mentioned on the board. Mrs. Coffin and Mr. Zandhuis for eg.
Especialy those having left om (or even SA) a long time ago may be particularly interested in this topic. There are several names I still remember and some of their faces and even the sound of some voices. My questions:
How long were teachers at OPS?
What subjects did they teach?
What did they do after OPS?
Just some of the names:
Mrs. Wilson. (Mrs. Coffins Sister)
Mrs. Ralph
Who did Woodwork with us?
Art lesons? I remember her face and voice...

Hi Michael.
I think Koos is being constructive. It reminds me of abstract art of the seventies and eighties. The artist only gives a slight hint of what he wants to say. At least you believe he wants to say something. You act on his impulse and start getting creative.
Isn't that contructive enough? This man must be way past our time. I think we have to catch up on him.....

I remember a Mr. Visser doing Biology. Tried looking like Elvis with sideburns almost to his chin. His Lucky Strike fags looking out of his shirt pocket and telling us plenty of "bull sh*t stories". Robert Kermis would always read his homework from a blank page.... hahaha Sorry Robert. I know he always noticed. But nice try of you again, again, again...

Mrs. Solamon was the art teacher. I remeber her bringeng her son up on her own. In those days still rather unusual.
Remember her mixing starch for some projects and us kids wondering whether we could eat the stuff.
