Hi,all!Yesterday,24 October 1974 at 14h40 my parents and i arrived in Oranjemund. What's ironic is that the weather was exactly the same as yesterday, windy and dusty. When we arrived in 38-12 avenue the dark green blinds in the kitchen where still on.The furniture was company's grounds and that years the people use to respect company's property, now that respect in general does not exist here anymore. The previously resident were uncle Hennie De Wet who the Rec.club manager these days.We had a fountain right in the middle of our garden.Does anyone notice that these people that does the watering in town, waters more the tarred road than the grass?Taxis get "lost" in this ghost town.AFC(african fried chicken)Chicken outlet sells russians, snoek and pap??

I have heard from a devout Oranjemundonline fan who regularly surfs the site whilst they are at work (during teatime), that since last week they can no longer access this site....  mmmh! here we go again!

It's a pity .... one would have thought that this would have been one way of "the men in black" being able to keep tabs on the rumours and even providing the correct information....

Just heard from another mine employee, muttering to me..."Whats happening on your site!" ...He can still access the Newspapers ans Sports pages from work...but just not Oranjemundonline.....

------------ So this is a straight case of the "men in black" not liking what is discussed on this site--------------------

Oh! To be a pariah!  Outcasts that we are..... all because we enjoy a good story or two about our town and the company.....

Maybe they just couldn't log off once the tea-time is over - enjoying the site too much!

Yes I agree, this site could actually be a way for the "men in black" to correct any of us if they think we're wrong.  Maybe they're too scared and we hit the nail on the head too often?

My apologies to Namdeb, I spoke to a person in the know, it turns out that the software that sorts out the different site, has been upgraded/changed in JHB and it has not recognised this site yet...... The person in the know reckons that this is not intentional and should be rectified soon.......
