Very scary to see even underaged girls stone drunk in bars these days.  Nobody cares about the moral issue anymore - it's all about the money.  Once in a while there might be a little racket about the underaged kids in the pubs, they will be checked for a week or two, then it just relapses back to the f*&@!-it-all mentality again.  Most upsetting about this is --  the parents actually give the kids money to go to these places and then they complain about the sometimes horriffic conseqenses.  Then they blame the barman  --  my viewpoint on this is that the barman is NOT your babysitter or the caretaker of your kids - they are your own responsibility.

who remembers Thomas at Caseys - not one to be messed with - he would get just as snotted as the customers sometimes and unfortunately his short temper when pissed landed him in shit more times than i can remember, but i got to know him quite well when working at the rec club - part of my job was to keep the bars stocked - he was actually a wonderful man with a wicked sense of humour, we got on really well.  also Henock at Sporties - just as hardegat, didn't take any crap - gave as good as he got.  then there was gentle old Sam at Sporties - what a guy - so patient - an absolute gentleman! Levi (sporties) as well was just as gentle, very shy.  I'm sure if you had to sit all of them down, you could get a book out of them all that they witnessed in their time with the drunkards and their antics.

Cannot  agree  more   Dalene ..  walk through Claremont  on  a saturday  night , and  see  the  amount of  too early  "an adult " girls  walking  in  packs  ,  really  thinking they  the  bees  knees  out   for  a  night  on  the town ..   be  afraid parents be  afraid   ...  theres  lots  of  spiking  of  drinks  going  on  with  awful  consequences  ...
Me  working as  a  barman   in  Omund  ?? .. yes  that was  fun  ,   did  Caseys sportsmans  and  stauschlager  plus  lots  of  functions ..   I  remember Aaron  from  sportsmans  ..  cool  headed character ...   my best team mate  was of  course Ronnie  Emery , we  had  a way  of  working  together  ... as  for the  drunk  snotkoppe  .. they  not  so  much of  a problem ,, what about  the grownups  that  seemed  to  grow  horns   and  the  forked  tail  after a  few  brandies ??
