Great photos guys - looks like ye had an absolute blast

Florrie van Zyl (Muir)

Just arrived back in Kimberley. Thanks so much Ronelle for organising the reunion. Trip was worth it. Never clicked who Sam was and finally realised Sam's wife is one of my best friends from Centaurus, so great to see Rene again, we are definitely going to keep in touch.  Also never expected to see Marshall there, if I had known he was going to be there, I would have brought my Dad with. My Dad used to think the sun shone out of Marshall's  arse. At least got a photo and a hug to give my Dad. Going to try and figure out the camera etc and will post my pics when I get it right. The only negative about the night, there were not enough faces from the past. Where were all those that said they would be there? Oranjemunders are not Ja-broers. To all that were there that I knew and chatted to, it was great to see you all, especially, Diana, Diana, Sandy B, Rene, Ronelle, Patricia, Sheila, Peter, Delia etc, sorry if I've left someone out.

Hi Barbara, yes it is.
Sorry everyone, I have just fired my photographer, he didn't set the camera properly, the pictures look terrible. Will have to teach myself how to use this camera so that I can take at the next reunion. Luckily the pictures posted already look great, thanks to those photographers.

What a blast from the past!!!  It was great to meet up and remember all the good times that were had by one and all.  The memory jogging that happened last night was such fun!  Great to see everyone again!  Thanks Ronelle for all your arrangements and thanks to Sammy and Rene for opening your "doors" to the old crowd.

I certainly look forward to being at the next one!

Keep up the good work.
Cheers
Patricia

Florrie glad to hear you are back home safely.  Thanks to you and Patricia who made such long trips just to join us for one evening. It was great to see both of you again.  Annerita dit was great om jou weer te sien!!!  Also thanks to everyone who joined us on Saturday evening.  Without you guys we would not have had such a blast.  I would have loved to stay till the end, but the Jaggermeister down-downs got the better of hubby.  Vlooi hoe het jy gevoel sondag oggend?  Hasie the same question goes to you.  It was a treat to see so many old faces again.

I am already planning a bigger bash for next year.  Hopefully we can make this a yearly get-together and have more people join us.  This was basically a trial run and the outcome was great.

Thanks again to all of you!!!

Ronelle / Sammy - thanks for organising such a cool night - felt like I was back in o'mund - good to catch up and see all the old faces.  Wish we could do it every weekend - although I don't know if my liver would agree............till next time

Mike thank you for posting the photographs I sent to Sandy.

Yes it was a fantastic evening - thank you Ronelle!

It was good making contact with old friends and work colleagues - some whom I have not seen in 30 years!

Sorry if I did not manage to speak to everybody, but a lot of water has flown under the bridge and a lot of catching up had to be made.

Thanks again for the brilliant night.

I really enjoyed looking thru these pix. Judging by the all the smiles, it looked absolutely awesome!! Was so nice to see Geraldine. Florrie, finally I can confirm, I now know a name to the face I've seen in and around town in Kby!!!! Its puzzled me for far too long. You and I didnt know each other in Omund but I certainly recognised you from Omund. Linda, I was amazed to see you on a pic. I havent seen you since school!!! (OPS??)

Florrie van Zyl (Muir)

Yvette post a picture so that I can also recognise you. We should meet for coffee if you are still in Kimberley.

Florrie, coffee sounds good name the time and the place.  Come down to the cancer relay Fri night, will be making a nice "ass" of myself!

Florrie van Zyl (Muir)

Leaving for Durban saturday morning, going on the cruise to Bazarutto, so will be packing and getting an early night. Thats just the excuse, to be quite honest, I am the worst when it comes to anything physical so avoid those situations like the plague, makes me feel guilty. I work from home so any time suits me, we can meet at Mugg & Bean, any day till Friday or after I get back, you can name the time, I'm not sure if you have fixed working times?
