The last I heard Andre was working for Skorpion Zinc in Rosh Pinah.  He was an engineer.  I'm sure he is still there.

Andre married Yolanda Venter, they live in Rosh Pinah and have just had their first baby (girl).
He is doing very well.  We see them often.  Will pass this site onto Andre.
