Here are a few photo's and images from Melanie Jonker, who lived in Oranjemund in the 60's. The unique thing that she also sent , was a copy of her Report Card. Many a child feared the day, when the reports were sent out to the Post Box's. I include her comments.

This is my Standard 2 school photo from 1967. I am left handed. I imagine the photographer preferred to put the pencil in my right hand!

A couple more Oranjemund photos. Both are of my father Wally (Woltemade) Jonker receiving a bowls trophy. I don’t know who the others in the photo are. The photos are circa 1965-1968.
