Been there done that.  Nearly lost a finger for being a bimbo - day dreaming as usual , nothing has changed

I remember Paul, Brad and myself target pulling at the 303 rifle club (now Place of Happiness). We were even allowed to take a few shots ourselves. I remember not being ably to move my arm for a week after experiencing the recoil of those rilfes.

Odd that we never ended up shooting one another...
Where am I going and why am I in this handbasket?

Paul Alexander

Unlike on the squash courts where we seldom pass a game without you or Kondjeni trying to remove a body part with a ball... (I do however accept some responsibility being a bigger target now than I was then!!)

Mike, you bugger, I remember the first time you roped me into target pulling, I was supposed to get 20 bucks and was going to use the money to buy mom a gift from the Fancy Goods (remember that dept. in the shop), it was a small Zulu shield with knob Kierrie and spear to match, then you schnooped me out of my cash and only gave me 5 bucks... bwaa haaa but I told mom and she made you give me the cash... ha haaaaaaaaaaaa, I still think I should get interest

Warren Weidemann

Ha! And now he works for SPAR  ???
Where am I going and why am I in this handbasket?

What fun, the 303 rifle range pulling targets, once we where allowed to shoot with the uzi`s. A brent gun was also used and blasted holes thru the target.Good way to make money

Diana Rudd (Boehme)

O.K. so I didn't do Uzi's and target pulling but here's me in action. Needless all the terrorists were shot in the feet.

I got around.

Diana the second pic looks like you are praying. Did you shoot someone and praying that they were not seriously injured

Not exactly target pulling, but this is what happens when the string on the bow slips from your fingers before you actually intended it to, and hits you with about 70pd impact.  I'm telling you  - was it not for other people around I would have cried ...   EINA EINA EINA
Life becomes harder for us when we live for others, but it also becomes richer and happier. Friendship is a sheltering tree.

To be clever enough to get a great deal of money, one must be stupid enough to want it.

Those who bring sunshine to the lives of other cannot keep it from themselves.
