Been living in Luderitz for 2 years now, poor little town living off tourism. The fishing industry has deteriorated. Namdeb still pumping money into the community.

Hi Clint. Didn't you use to live in second avenue? Someting round about number 30? Almost next to the GMs house? Your father used to drive an old Volvo?
I've seen your homepage, but I would never have recognised you.

Yes I lived in 2nd avenue 48-2nd. Mel is the oldest and lives in Australian. My dad drove that green volvo.

Now I remember better.  We lived in 63-1st, so you guys were not far from us.  Come to think of it now  - the topic of the 1st ave bushes and the guy who had his ear pierced by the stick  -  wasn't it one of you Ebstein boys?  Gary?  What year was he in St. 5?
Life becomes harder for us when we live for others, but it also becomes richer and happier. Friendship is a sheltering tree.

To be clever enough to get a great deal of money, one must be stupid enough to want it.

Those who bring sunshine to the lives of other cannot keep it from themselves.

Ya ya ya the Ebstein`s where the talk of many conversations, we should have lived in the GM`s spot

Dalene Steenkamp (Coetzee)

Don't you mean it should have been your "hide-out" spot?

It was in the Ebsteins garden I first saw watermelon plats. I remember wondering, how such dry and weedy plants could have such juicy fruits.

On the east side of Clint's house was a tall hedge, where Clint used to keep all the snakes he picked up in the desert..... was his favourite place to hide when we played Hide and seek as kids, coz he knew nobody would go near the hedge..

... and I'm sure there was a time when Clint blew/burnt his eyebrows of, when messing around with the petrol in his dad's lawnmower.....
