Aah !  that  pool !  so  clean  so blue, so  inviting , so  long .. we  were indeed  priveleged  to  have  such  a  nice  pool !!   Viv and I  used  to  challenge  on  underwater   who  could  do  the most  lengths .. I  got 3  the  one  time  but almost  passed  out  as  I reached  the end  .. you  know  the  tunnel  that darkens  with  the  light  at  the  end  of it  ?? ..   well  thats  what  happened  to  me  ... stupid  pride  and  determination   switched off  basic  survival instinct ...

Hey Sandy. That was dangerous. I think I did almost 2 and felt I was about to burst.
The best time for a swim was always at night. Loved the atmosphere....

Sheena myself and a few others got caught as kids swimming at night after hours at the pool, when we saw the security lights we jumped over the wall and ran and hid behind Coras caffee by the toilets,security found us there, guess how they found us, they just followed the wet foot prints.

Then we got back to the pool to get our clothes and I think it was Sheena that went to put her long pants on and started screeming, why, a bat had climbed into them!

Hey !! keep  the  slapping  and  pooping  off this  topic  .. it  all   started  innocently  with  a nice  picture  of  a  lovely  blue  pool    with  people   swiming in  it  and  then  degenerates ...   keep  the  slapping and  pooping  in  their  intended  spaces ..  ..

Okay Sandy, Diana. You're right.
I think that most of us have great memories in and about this pool.
I learnt swimming at the age of nine. I remembrer well how prowd I was with my achievement. No help needed.
Nowadays kids get taught how to swimm at school and special courses.
