Florrie van Zyl (Muir)

Keith, looks like your pole is getting bigger and bigger. First it was the Canadian guy with the pole, now its the pole with the Canadian guy attached.

I haven't actualy Florrie but when we first started practicing our routine for the Re-union we had great difficulty finding a decent local pole. They kept breaking so Keith offered us his imported one.I do believe it's aluminium.

Cheleen I heard that Michael would be "summiting" around 11 this morning.Perhaps you can pop round and help him raise the Namibian flag as I'm sure he'll be exhausted.

Mike did'nt make it,,, due to the fact that after he put on his heavy hiking gear, backpack, ice pick, ropes and jackets, he stubbed his toe on the first step leading out of the front door...the nail in his fragile toe was driven back into the flesh causing great pain and massive blood loss. You will see mike at work today with a massive plaster wrapped around his damaged toe..... he will raise some funding and attempt the hike again next weeken, once his strenght has returned to his battered body.....
