As much as I'd love to go to the reunion, unfortunately we were in SA last October and are starting a house in the next couple of weeks and so I'm trying to subtly bully Mike and his 3 ladies to come to the land of leprechauns in 2009, once I've convinced Mike it's a good idea then I'll work on Paul and Stevie to come over with their gangs as well...........what a blast that would be...

Hi Rhona. I went to see the Wolf Tones in 1985 in Dublin. At that time they would play every Friday in a pud downtown. The people went mad wih their music and drank, and drank......
It was my last night ever in Ireland :emot78: Hope to go there some day again.
We spent the night in some hostel a policeman showed us, for free. Very unusual, but we were blank.
Dublin seemed near dead at night. Even the Conoly Ave. or boulevard. You know what I mean.
Realy enjoyed the crack with Irish. Always!!

As part of Mike's weird diet , he returned to the town pool of an absence of 14 months to resume his 30 lengths a day routine this morning... the Ovambo lifeguard was so concerned about me having a heart attack thingy, that he actually climbed into the pool and swam along with me.... talk about dedication..... but I almost killed myself......
