We've just had a bloody earth quake and am shakin like a leaf. It's been felt all over the country shook my house and a blast of hot air came through . . So scary. . . .hope to see u all again soon lol just thought ad let you no. Hope every one is ok who might be in uk. Not tellin of any damage yet but only happened 15 min's ago. X

Sorry if that didn't make sense. . We've had a 4. 7 earth quake. . No new's of any damage comin through yet on tv but the epicentre was 25 miles from where i am  . . Very scary. . . .another night with no sleep   
. . Thought someone had dropped an atom bomb cause there was warm blast of air as the house shook. So un real. . . I darnt go to bed. Lol.

HEARD  IT  ON  THE  NEWS  THIS MORNING  HON ..   THEY SAY  WE   GOING  TO  HAVE  SAME  AGAIN  HER  IN THE CAPE  SOME  TIME  OR OTHER  .. LAST  WAS  WHEN I  WAS  AT HIGH SCHOOL IN  WELLINGTON ..  EARLY  70'S  ...   SCARY  BUT    FUN  AT  THE  TIME AS  WE  WERE  YOUNG  AND RECKLESS   AND  DID  NOT  THINK  OF  CONSEQUENCE ..

Managed to fall to sleep about 5.30am. . . Then up at 7.30 . . .but was such a strange feelin.   .   now sayin it measured 5.2. . .only 1 person been injured about 4 mile's from here when the roof fell in. Off to work now. . . Av a good day everyone. . X

Well as Bev said terrifying earthquake, It woke me up at about 1.00am, i heard a bang and them my mirrow started moving and the radiators were shaking, I was very disorientated, I fist thought my boiler had blown up. This is the first earthquake in 25 years. Hope everyone in UK is OK. Glad to see you are fine Bev

Well it's good to hear that our UK connections are all still with us....
@ Sandy, that was the earthquake in the early 70's, I was a toddler then living in Fishhoek, the epicentre was in Tulbagh...and you're right, the Cape is long overdue for another....

Hi all........just back in from work after a very tiring day after only having 2 hours sleep..........makes you realize how vunerable we all are doesnt it.....glad to hear your ok barbara.....and everyone else in uk  ..............with the flood weve had and the freaky hot spells in winter....weve no season any more like we use to have.................this climate change is scarey......we need to do so much more with things we knows causing some of this.....wether any of these things will really help in the long run dont think any of us will be around to see...........but  every goverment should be doing all they can to reduce all the polutions thats causing global warming.........but that wont happen ........going back to our conversations about beliefs on the other topic.....my belief is that if the world isnt ended by some idiot pressing a few buttons...then freak weather like weve seen so much of recently all over the world....will end the world........lol i might be talking rubbish...but still feel really uneasy over last night.......need a drink lol
