... and this is what makes it worthwhile living in this part of the desert, the only water shortages we get, is when the pipe burst..... water costs nothing and the power is still free...... and if you own a 4x4 here, there must be a reason to use it, though quad bikes are all the rage these days....

It's almost a necessity to have a 4X4 in SA due to the bad state of our roads. Check on the keyboard what is above the 4. If you accidentally press the shift key you get $X$.
