I just scanned this and thought that i would post it quickly, of interest due to the fact that there are a lot of characters in one pic!

Michael, thanks for this pic. showed it to dad and he remembers it well. He was 44 when it was taken. He remembers getting kicked and he hit the floor, bob hodgson ran onto the field and gave him a beer so he could recover and get back to the game in hand.  Great memories for my dad

Recognise several of these guys. Remember watching them play now and then. They were always having great laughs.

When one hears the stories of those soccer matches, it was amazing how many of the players were actually drunk when the were playing.....

There was this one sunday, fantastic weather and great mood. Probably 1975. We kids enjoyed playing in the bamboo at the entrance to the soccerfield erea. Right hand. It was so thick and high, there were tunnels and hiding places....
We had overseen a beehive. So off the bees went and stung one of the soccer players. His was one of our teachers husband. Only remember she was blonde and very nice. Now this guy had an allergie which meant he could die of the sting. At least, that's what they told us. The next days we were scared shitless cause we felt guilty...
Anybody remember this. Maybe you Barbara. I think Steven was there too.
