The power of this site!  Thanks for all the help.  I would like a telephone number to talk to Gert if anyone has one - maybe just privately email me at   jlcreedyATshawDOTca     I have some oooold 8 mm movie clips I can send him on some of the radio stuff he was involved with.  Also some more photos.  Thank you for sending the photos to him - I know he will be thrilled to see the old radioshop.  I have an address for Uitenhage but no postal code.  Anyone help there??

Thanks for that.  Stupid question - you related - I dont remember any children in my time but was half asleep anyway.  Leila my wife is 30 August.  I will phone him this weekend.
