I would love to see what our old house looks like now.  It was an absolute mess when we moved in, and when we moved out of town years later it was a paradise garden.  Can someone take a photo?  It would be really great to see!

I have'nt taken photo's of the houses in ages, people were giving me funny looks when this white double cab with a German Sheperd hanging out the window, big white male hangs out the window and starts to take pics.... all hell breaks lose ... for some reason or other they think I was investigating something.... ... I'll get back to taking pics in a month or so... unless Alfie beats me to it.....

Gee, we must have been neighbours... We were on the corner, then you and then the Munn's on the otherside
was the Bester's and xxxx cannot remember and then the du Cruz.  Our garden was also so great, what with my mom being a florist and today it looks like the desert.  It is so sad when water is for free and they still dont even bother, i give up...........

Wow, Susan, I had the same thought when I saw the address!  We played so much with you guys, Christine, that my Mom used to say they may as well put in a gate between us because we spent as much time there as we did in our own garden!

What are your brothers and sister's names?  I have an idea we used to go on the same plane to Windhoek to school?

Ummm...I think you stayed there long before us.  We only  moved in around 1998 or 1999...When were you living in that area?
Sjoe...thinking back it was a really nice area to live.  Near the tank park and putt-putt, the dune and East Gate...I really miss that place!!

You are correct, my folks left in 1990.  All that i can remember about our neighbours is that they were Afrikaans, will keep on searching...........

Mmm...I'll try to help find out who lived there before.  Most of our neighbours in that area had been living there a while when we moved in.  The McKays lived next to us on the corner, the van Geems family lived down the street for years and years.  The Kalondo family also lived in the house across from us - they lived there for quite a while before we moved into the neighbourhood.  Maybe you could ask around those families?

I'm not to sure if they will be able to help as that was way before they even arrived let alone born.
