This could be fun, I have always wondered how many Oranjemunders have retired or left and now stay in Table View and surrounding suburbs (every trip to Bayside I always seem to bump into somebody from O/mund)?

Hi Alfred,

After looking for my old O/M best friend ( from 40 years ago) I eventually found her in Table View, I went last year to meet up with her ( Nicolene barratt & Cousin Verona ) also just around that area there was john Van Der Hooven, Sandy Buchannon ( In woodstock) and Dyan young, Also Mrs Fields ( sharon and skylers mum) .
Now seems lots of people moved on to that area.......

hey, hey kenny - careful there, you have a lot of us boksburgers to contend with  ;D

i've also seen heather allen around the area (hubby was phil). bumped into dieter heiser in superspar, parklands. used to see charley blakemore a lot, haven't seen him for a while though.

Sam & Rene Seal own "The Edge" bar along Parklands main road - went there a couple of months ago one sat night to say hello but he wasn't there that night - only really comes in during the day to do the books, etc.

Heather Alan lives just around the corner from me in Plumstead.
I think it's her boyfriend who lives in the Table View area.

Hi Delia
Please could you say hello to Heather Allen when next you see her for me? Thank you

Tableview... My oldman's there, Cliff & Heather Jones, Bethkes to mention a few.

The retirement areas seem to be "seasonal". There was a time when hoards of OMders retired to Somerset West area, and again the Port Owen and Veldrif area.
All things electrical contain smoke. Making it come out is easy; getting it back in? ... yeah right!!!

Hi all old Oranjemunders living in Table View.  Maybe it is time we have a good old Oranjemund reunion at Chill Out (Sam & Rene's other pub - they sold the Edge).  Anyone interrested let me know on my email address.   Ronelle Van Rooyen (nee Groenewald)

Hi Delia, nice to know you are still around.  Haven't seen you for some time.  Seems we only bump into each other at Bayside.  Will definately let you know about the reunion.  That is if we get a big anough response.

Diane,  Chill Out is in Parklands Main road, just a few meters from Sam's old pub "The Edge".  It is in the same centre where Midas Spares are.  Mabis Pub is upstairs and Chill Out downstairs in the right hand corner.  It is a very small cozy pub.  Hope you find your way there.
