Sorry all you Cyber Oranjemunders....as you know I have returned from leave and intended to catch up on the postings in here, but Alan Ferrie is in town and we have been drinking quite a bit..... with another big braai on next door tonight.....2morrow being a holiday..... So I will more than likely not be on online 2nite..... My humble apologies....

Well it turned into quite a nice night... here are two pics... the common thing here, is that all the people in the pics were working as electrical  appies/artisans...off course I never qualified but the rest did..... but it was great to have them together... especially that Alan was here..much beer was consumed..

I forgot to mention that all the okies in the photo's are Sparkies, save for me.... who left the trade, 6 weeks before my trade test, but thats another story....

Thats no prob ... you eventually migrated into retail ... me I just got shoehorned into  production management  years ago cos of my grasp of  manufacturing process..  but yes my technical background , inate curiosity and tendency to be a  quiet leader  has served me well  to this day ,,  so I'm a good hybrid looking back I  can express no  regret ... it was a good  starting point ...  I landed in the right place at the right time ... pretty much what i asked of the universe ... and yes got it ..
To see  sometimes  requires that you  first believe .
