Brownies of 1965-66

Heres a Photo of the Brownie Pack of 1965-6, some of the names i remember.......
Aileen Ockwell Teresa Solms, Cherry Alcock, Nicolene Barratt, Maud...white was it........noel dont remeber her secoond name...theres also me Bev Coates  yvonne ....eermmm not sure now, viv worth.....lots of first names i know but ANNOYINGLY (seems to be happening to us all) i dont remeber the full names...ive also just spotted sandra williams.....anyone know where she is......
I remember learning the official alphabet in sign language while in the brownies......something i never forgot and has come in very useful over the years .not for all the right reasons either ......

Please let me know if you recognise anyone one here.

   NOW WITH PHOTO.......(hopefully)..........There is Kathleen Dickson at the back with her sister Vivienne in front of her. Ailene with Janeen Jackson (I think) next to her - then Viv....and maybe Kathleen Burdette. Ummm Noels surname was du PlessisMichelle  Uytenhoven could be the extreme right front

Where's the photo Bev :D  Would love to see it I'm sure that was my brownie year. Like you say the memory gets confused. But Maud's surname was Whitely and the Yvonne could be de Lange.

Yvonne and I were good friends Sandy. we lived at E5/11 and them at E9/11.I recall when Yvonne and I were TWEENY boppers we would spy and eavesdrop on Ronny's party's,he stayed in the pondock.Marlene Bezuidenhout was their older sister her children were Andre and Lynette.

The same Marlene his name was Peet. They ran the dry cleaners way back then already. Last I saw them they were staying in Melkbos strand.

The last time I saw them was in the museum 2 weeks ago, came up visit Andre and their grandkids, staying in Hermanus now.... I love it when the old timers pop in for a visit!

Dianne Boehma........are you on there........i know your friends with verona and dy....shame we didnt get to meet up when i was over in C/T last year........but will be over again soon....so hope we can meet up .

Sadly, both Yvonne and Ronnie de Lange have passed away. Both were only in their 40's - Yvonne from cancer and Ronnie from complications with his Diabetes. Mom (Marlene) is the only remaining sibling. mom & dad (Peet) still living in Hermanus.

Bev I'm here ....I'm here. Yes Dianne told me about your visit and showed me some photo's you brought. Is that not Dianne between Yvonne and Teresa.Thats me to the right of Teresa looking sideways. I think Michelle Uytenhoven is the extreme right front. My screen is not that clear I must get to Debby Biccard and look at the photo on her screen.Would love to see you when you in town again.

Hi Dianne,

yes i can see that is you.....now i know ...... i dont think that is dyan to be honest.......but could be, it was great seeing Dyan again....she couldnt remember me at first.... but the photos i took for her of us when we were young...also of glynis....were the first photos her kids had seen of her when so young....cant wait to go back to see Dy, the time went too quick,

will add the names youve given me to the photo.....

Anyone in this Brownie pic remember me? I am sure I am in the front row and I remember Kathleen adn Vivienne Dickson but not many other peopel I am afraid. My family left O'mund soon afterwards and I lost touch with everyone.
Would love to hear formanyone who rembers me?
