I was just wondering, was there a beer garden at the Children's Christmas Tree? I know there was one at the Mule Derby.... but never knew about the Xmas tree...   idontknow

Mike I think you could buy drink at the clubhouse on the cricket grounds, don't remember if there was a beer garden though. My dad helped to make those rides when he was a boilermaker. Sad that they aren't used anymore.

I should not have seen this. It is like watching a funeral.  Really sad to see, the merry go round planes in that state.

This is a piece of history that meant a lot to many kids/people. Thanks for the pictures.
