Idea of the new game:

- Anybody can post a "guess who?" question.
- New post allowed as soon as the old quest has been answered properly.
- You can take any kind of famous person. Science, relegion, politics ect...
- If particapents are having a hard time you can give a hint.

Georg, I'll take a swing at it!
I know Galen (Greek physician) believed blood moved in the body like the ocean tides.
How about the English physician William Harvey?  I know he did experiments and proved that blood "circulates" in a closed system of tubes in the 1620's.

Feel free to post one yourself, but here's another one from me.

Who was the x-ray telescope, that surches "dead" stars, the USA sent to orbit 1999 named after?

It's a bit unfair for me to keep on answering, so I'll leave this one for someone else.  Unfortunately you asked 2 questions in fields I enjoy.  I'm a regular on the NASA website, and I keep track of the ISS  - check it out a lot of evenings as it speeds over us.  I'll answer if you ask me.

''Hiya Bertie - can you whisper the answer to this question please - Who was the x-ray telescope, that surches "dead" stars, the USA sent to orbit 1999 named after?''

I think if you print the answer in pink - no one can read the post only us two.......

Bertie Horak

@ Rhona - Let's hope they don't see this!!!  The Chandra telescope was named after the Nobel prize winner/astrophysicist Chandrasekhar.  Now you post it quickly before the others see it!!!
