For the previous 3 years at Highclere castle near here, Eric has supported the Countryside Alliance and played a gig there with Brian Ferry and various other rockers including Mike & The Mechanics, Pink Floyd, Procul Harum, Steve Harley etc etc. At each of the concerts, Whoever is on stage supports the next band or individual .

Here is Eric. As the crowd who attend the gig (includes a picnic) in the castle grounds only numbers no more than 2000 people, you get really close to these rockers.

Here is Eric at the last Highclere Castle gig. Have seen him at The Albert Hall a couple of times too.  I think he has a future as a guitarist......!!!!

George - you are so right. And it is so nice to see him come on, do his stuff then remain onstage at the back playing his guitar as support for the oncoming acts. In all he was onstage for 4 hours. Mike Rutherford of Genesis and Mike and the Mechanics was onstage from the start!

All these guys were superb. Bryan Ferry was the only one to do his bit and not stay on as support. Selfish git!

@Mike,
Can this forum accept videos in the posts?

@ Robert, no... I'm afraid not... this version is about 3 upgrades behind the latest version, I have been mulling it over on when to do an upgrade.... just don't want to break anything ...

Robert, you can post videos under 2mb as an attachment. The limit says 3.5mb per post, but over 2mb it gives an error message.

Don't move. Put away the keyboard.

Did you notice that you are on 777 posts. No?

Good - leave it like that 'cos 777 is a lucky number.

Gee I wasnt aware of that Robert. Too late now, I've gone up to 779...lol What bothers me more though is the time I've been on the forum. 4 days 2hours and 43 mins. Now thats addiction.

777 was my post office box number while in O'mund...............how lucky am I?

Carl Wrbka

My current box number is 12345. Hasn't brought me any luck though, only envious comments every now and then...lol

@ Pam - yes I was lucky enough to see LZ before they split up and before Bonham died.

Was not lucky in the draw to get a ticket to the reunion gig though.
