@ Georg - I think you are correct with Adam Weishaupt!  The quizmaster Carl fell asleep.  Regarding the telescope one - it was on the tip of my tongue and I just couldn't get it!  Rhona was too quick for me!

@ Rhona - Well done, thanks for putting me out of my misery!

@ Carl - Was there really a program on tv about sir Kellogg and his socks, sex and stupid ideas?  Didn't see it - coincidence!

Adam Weishaupt?

Hey Carl... ???

:emot112_2: Well done jnr. It was indeed Adam Weisshaupt.

@Bertie - Yesterday on Discovery Channel. The program was called "How it's made". The rest came from Wikipaedia.

OK who'se next?

Bertie Horak

Here's one for the boys.  Things we played with when we were small.

Guess who?  Invented "Meccano", "Dinky Toys" and "****** Model Railways".   I'm blocking out one name, because that would give it away, for this specific range has his name!

I had two of the three as a kid.  The third one I got to play with at my good friend in primary school - Ian van Wyk, who lived in E2/11.

Sorry Georg, not the one I wanted, but excellent guess!  He did in fact also have excellent trains and a mechanical toy set similar to Meccano.  Try again!
