I was scanning Newletters for the next update, and saw this memory. I remember my mom always ordering goodies like this a few months before Xmas....then the wait came....but it was worth it....

Aaah!  fond  memories .    The  Riveiera   hamper  .. and  once the  contents  were  consumed  the  various containers  were also useful   and  kind of buy  food and  tupperware  at the same  time ..  ..  so strange  the minute I saw  the  heading   before  opening  up .. Jenny  Gersteners  name  popped into  my  head  ...  I  remember   reading  her  beautiful  words    in  the obit  to  her  son .. only  a loving understanding  mother  could  write  such  words .
To see  sometimes  requires that you  first believe .

Sandy, I will always remember Greg Gerstener,
the picture that is fixed in my mind is Greg as a youngster asking if he could shoot my Colt 45,
Then me standing behind him and catching his hands as the recoil lifted his hands, the look of pleasure on his face wo'nt ever leave me.

Ha Ha Ha !!!

Richard Gerstner here, twas my Mum that did the Riveiera orders.  Our Lounge Area used to be loaded with the stuff after the truck from CT got there.

Oh, by the way, if you ever opened your tub and found you were missing a "Chocolate Peanut Cluster" or a "Sweety Pie" then ... Ermm ....  don't blame Riveiera Foods.

It was me.

Best Regards
Richard.

feeling much better now .....   hehehe

Richard, flashback, sometime in 1978, you bullied me in the boys changing rooms at the swimming pool!..... I;m bigger now....   ;)

Strange memory's coming back, but remember all the things that went on in those changing rooms, wet towel fights, throwing peoples underpants onto the roof lights.....

hehehe  ;D
