Bear in mind that these pics are from this morning and my previous saturday morning..... remember the small dumes along the beach...they made great places to play whilst mom and dad had a braai  in the braai shelters at the beach.....

YEp! Yep! He is growing and is gonna be a massive dog .... but he is a very clever dog and even takes baths and showers when we do.....

Just don't get him to be so fierce that when we get there we can't enjoy his jolly jump abouts down at the lagoon....
I mean, we all can't take our pets with, so we will have to use yours for a while ....    image24
Life becomes harder for us when we live for others, but it also becomes richer and happier. Friendship is a sheltering tree.

To be clever enough to get a great deal of money, one must be stupid enough to want it.

Those who bring sunshine to the lives of other cannot keep it from themselves.

Did he finish the item in question..............Man! A puppy that can knit - whatever next, a kitten that can dance?

Can you believe it! He was jealous because I was knitting and not playing football with him so the minute I got up he decided to grab it and run outside! Of course the more I chased after him the further away he ran - at least I had a good laugh about it! The little shit!

When my Mom and Ed  finished building their home in Hout bay .. they  got a sheperd cross puppy  from animal welfare and a  two kittens from me .. of course the building of the garden and the  young dawg demanding attention .. I mean  who is more important in an active young growing dogs mind ?/ mundane things like gardening or playing  with  him ?? the lawn became his  outlet for this  frustration .. they bought instant lawn .. the  squares were duly delivered  after  the nice smelly  preparation layer  ( dogs  delight ) ahd been   laid down . with the instruction to water  constantly so as to encourage   rooting ..  Ghengis proceeded to  rip up the squares  and would deposit them in a corner of the garden .. that done he would roll in the nice smelly stuff .. no amount of attention could get him away from that doggy game .. no  reprimands helped either .. he woud just cock his head to one side .. put on the  one spca broken ear  and  give a quizzical look  .. as if to say whats the fuss about  I enjoy it?/ eventually banned from running around in the back yard till lawn got a reasonable foothold .. naughty bugger  .. he gave my Mom and Ed  many years  of pleasure , loyalty  and  unconditional friendship .. still  moving with  them to their next  home in Helderberg village  by that time he was older and less of a handfull   and was  instead  content to  just  watch them  build the  new garden ..  when he went my Mom was so heartbroken and said no more animals ,, its like losing children over and over ..
