you would find these markers all over town wherever the 30KV line went.... these days I notice quite a few of them now lie toppled over, damamged, covered over....I also notice quite a few Lights with missing panels over the power box area... now in the old days heads would roll over such neglect..... it seems nobody cares here anymore, until the first child gets shocked or the the first contractor digs up a 30Kv line....that should be fun...

Hey Mike,
Those 30kV markers are still in their correct places (well most of them anyway). Those lines are buried underground (not the MIB...) the cables dilly.
Yep, it's a pity to see the state of "municipal" infrastructure these days, but I guess that happens when you have a number of contractors working for a company that provides a service to another company that doesn't know where it's headed because it doesn't have a head right now. Some folk were more concerned about the sunken ship instead of concentrating on the "sinking ship" that is all around them.
Numerous kids have been blitzed by lamp posts and pillar boxes and yes, heads rolled in those days, but now... they're protected (the heads)... hahaha!
All things electrical contain smoke. Making it come out is easy; getting it back in? ... yeah right!!!
