Hi Michael

I know of Astrid Machts, she died in an accident about ten years ago. ( Daughter of Günther and Helga and Sister of Ingo).

Iggi van Gruenen died while i stayed in Oranjemund, must have been about 1978, it was the only funeral i ever attended in O-mund.

Gudrun Corvenus of Geology was murdered and deacapitaded in Asia last year.

She was highly honered for her research work.

Moved to Oranjemund in 1937/1938

Was married later and stayed in Windhuk in the Gartenstrasse

1. Marriage Kartage , 2. van der Stel

I searched for her, since her half Brother from Danmark could not find her. I found her in Usakos in 2006

She passed away shortly after my visit

I spoke to Günther Machts ( Town Electric), he rembemered that name from Kolmanns, i doubt any Oranjemunders can remember her, she was only 6 and visited the O-mund School at that time
