For some strange reason last night....well this morning 3am ish...i was watching south african tv....it had real old film clips from the 60's and showed a group of school children singing the national anthem (spell checker please)........and i thought i knew all the words..........now i know i dont....i must have made them up in my head over the years lol....my words sounded nothing like theirs.......i do recogninse that little rhyme bobby but darnt help with  missed words...lol

@ Mike - Ogies mis niks, nê!  What can I say... great minds think alike, fools never differ, etc.  I like the sound the scanner makes when it adjusts the lamp - sounds like a robotic arm or something from a sci-fi movie.  I bought it recently, have been scanning more than 450 slides with it.  I'm quite happy with it.

@ Dalene - You're right!!!  The kids are online when we're not looking.  Tigger came to bed late last night with a big smile on his face - now I know why!!!  He just blinked at the screen, so please send regards to Pierrewiet!

Yes, Bertie, I think they are taking the expression "PARTY ANIMALS" up very seriously.  Just wonder what we're going to do with hung-over cats?  Pierrewiet apparently has ordered some tuna cat wine, the best catty snacks and would you believe it......  Cattermeister for shooters!  Gotta be very carefull of this little feeline - he might be pulling a stunt like that movie Animal Farm!

I am Glad i am not the only one who remembers. It is the only afrikaans I remember, and will sing it to my freinds when They ask me to speak Afrikaans. I always wondered if there was another verse?
