Gee, if it's not that everyone is hungover then they're all watching the rugby and soccer!

Well I'll just talk to myself then! I had a really nice day off today, starting with the girls and I having a bite to eat and look around at the museum. (Can't wait for all of those coming for the reunion to see what you think of the museum!) Then we popped in at Spar to say hi to Mike, came home and the girls wanted to do something art and crafty so I got them a wooden box each to paint, and Cameron choose a mermaid cutout to put onto hers and Shannon a seahorse. After that we baked chocolate cupcakes and made the icing to go on them. I left the girls to ice them - not sure how much icing went on the cupcakes and how much into their mouths but they had a great time.

Cameron and I took Shadow down to the beach for a walk but it is really cold and windy down there, didn't stay there too long, on the drive back I wondered why it was so quiet in the back so I turned around to see that poor Cameron had fallen asleep! She's obviously picked up Mike's flu and is now tucked up nice and warm in our bed watching High School Musical 2 with Shannon.

They've asked for pancakes for supper so I've made the batter and it is now resting, I see Mike's got himself a steak which he will smother with pepper sauce.

And that's about it for the Alexanders today - I'll just sit here and wait for someone to join me!

Never watched rugby in my life, football very seldom, but will watch part of the soccer final tomorrow

To be honest, i would be happy if we win the cup, but the spanish play excellent soccer....

May the better team win.......second place also also good, so nothing to loose

There will be a big party on monday in Berlin, regardless as winners or not

How are you today? What is the weather like in Germany? What is on your menu for supper tonight?

It's back to work for me tomorrow - I just decided to take today off so that the girls could spend the morning at home with me and not have to hang around Spar - they usually go to my parents but they are in Cape Town at the moment.

Is it too early for an Irish coffee? I see there is still cream left!
