Gee! Georgswa, I feel like a rude Skyper now......   

No  not rude, but i told you on occasions about the echo
You are in the advantage listening to me since i use a head phone, that means you dont hear a echo.

If you speak when i have a speaker on, ( which i have not) you would hear youreself as an echo

This also happens when your mike is to close to the speaker, or if speaker is to loud.

Thats all i am saying.

In addition , the slow Nam system adds to that problem.

I use single line ISDN, at home and we surf a lot... really a lot.... with the odd 2 hour SKype webcam enabled session...and our bill pans out at about R700.00 a month.... not to shabby, I would say...

I've had the undermentioned package for about 6 month now, and it meets my needs for now. In the beginning we had to buy "topup" after the first week as the wife went download bef*k with the new toy...

My laaities were not much better. The youngest one came to me one day and wanted my credit card number. He had clicked on one of those "congratulations you are the millionth visitor" popups and wanted my card number to claim his "prize".

My internt costs are divided

Acces is via Telcom cost about 17 €/month basic

My provider is AOL i can choose different tarifs

Use at the moment speed of 1,000 Mbits and unlimited time and traffic with mailing capacity of 2 GB

That cost about 10 € / Month

So total is 28 €

I also have a programm installed that shows me up and download Mbits of traffic.

Just typing in a board is little traffic

Talking is more up and down

Camera increases that

Confernce calls: If more then 2 are present only the avatar is seen, no video transmission

We had a treesome last night, Nam, Brit, Ger, worked fine

Dont know the limit how many can connect simultanious

Important on normal converation and even more on conference is strikt discipline on who talks.

Pausing and waiting for the next to talk helps !!!!

I hate using the earphones, I feel that I might as well just pick up the phone and phone the person then, often when the speaker is on, Michele or somebody will also be listening to the conversation....

That is ok mike if you dont place the mike near the speaker and dont turn the boxes up to loud

Just ask you partner on the line how it sounds, if he hears his echo, you must react as i say
